It was a gorgeous day yesterday with high of 21°C. On a sunny day like this, I tend to wear bright and light colours. I’m pretty sure there is a correlation between clothing colour and mood, because I was happy and energetic. Hmmm…Maybe I should look into the psychology aspect of this. Long story short, this was my work attire, inspired by one of my favourite summer time salad. You can achieve this look as well with few basic wardrobe essentials such as a well-fitted blazer, a comfy white tee and a skirt appropriate for work. It’s simple, chic! Happy Friday!

On a side note, it’s National Volunteer Week - Canada’s largest celebration of volunteers, volunteerism, and civic participation. To volunteers everywhere who graciously donate your time and energy, THANK YOU!
In the nursing home I work at, we’d a “tip your hat to volunteer” day, but I missed the memo. I was lucky enough that one of my patients who is in her 80’s lend this beautiful hat of hers to me. How sweet. I think she has quite a style to own such a cute hat. What do you think?
